Made For Summer Terms of Use
Effective date: 25 October 2026 Operator: Made For Summer, ABN 24 432 082 466
These Terms govern access to and use of the Made For Summer website, Try experience, application, meal plans, recipes, exercise programs, progress tools and related services. By creating an account, accessing a Try experience or purchasing and using Made For Summer, you agree to these Terms and the Made For Summer Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not create an account, purchase access or use the service.
1. About Made For Summer
Made For Summer is a general nutrition, exercise and lifestyle program for adults. The core program consists of an eight-week challenge followed by a four-week maintenance phase. It provides structured information and self-guided tools; it is not medical care, dietetic treatment, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, mental health treatment or an individually prescribed clinical service.
AI-assisted content and professional review
Made For Summer uses generative artificial intelligence throughout its content-production process. Unless expressly stated otherwise, program content—including text, recipes and cooking methods, meal-planning guidance, nutrition information, exercise guidance, workout programming, illustrations and photographic-style images—has been generated, developed or materially refined using AI-assisted tools.
AI-generated content can contain errors, omissions, unrealistic images or information that is incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for an individual. Made For Summer performs internal product, consistency and usability reviews, but those reviews are not clinical or professional verification. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the content has not been individually reviewed, verified, approved or endorsed by a doctor, Accredited Practising Dietitian, nutritionist, accredited exercise physiologist, physiotherapist or other qualified health or fitness professional.
You must not treat AI-generated or AI-assisted content as medical, dietary, rehabilitation or individually prescribed professional advice. You remain responsible for checking ingredient labels, allergen information, cooking safety, equipment setup, exercise technique and whether a meal, exercise or recommendation is suitable for you. If you are unsure, obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional before relying on or following the content.
In these Terms, Made For Summer, we, us and our mean Made For Summer, ABN 24 432 082 466. You means the person who creates the account or uses the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, access Try or purchase or use Made For Summer.
You must complete eligibility and safety questions honestly. Made For Summer may prevent or limit use where responses indicate that a general self-guided program is not appropriate. This may include pregnancy or breastfeeding, eating-disorder risk, a medical condition requiring individual treatment, an injury requiring rehabilitation, or a diagnosed allergy or other dietary need requiring personalised clinical management.
You must not use another person’s identity, create an account for a person under 18, or allow another person to use your account.
3. Health and safety
Before beginning or changing an exercise or nutrition program, consider whether you should obtain advice from a doctor, accredited practising dietitian, physiotherapist or another appropriately qualified health professional. You should obtain professional advice before use if you have a medical condition, take medication affected by food or exercise, have an injury, experience unexplained symptoms, have a history of disordered eating, or are unsure whether the program is suitable for you.
Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical assistance if you experience chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, sudden weakness, acute pain or another concerning symptom. In an emergency, contact emergency services. Do not use the app as an emergency or diagnostic service.
Before each workout, check that you have enough clear space and that floors, benches, machines, bands, anchors, collars, safety stops and other equipment are stable, suitable and in good condition. Use a load, range of movement and technique you can control. Made For Summer does not supervise you in real time or monitor you for injury, distress or an emergency.
Calorie estimates, meal pathways, exercise substitutions, progression suggestions and other recommendations are general estimates based on the information you provide. They do not guarantee a particular result and are not a substitute for individual professional judgment.
4. Food, allergies and dietary requirements
Recipe, ingredient, nutrient and allergen information is provided as general guidance. Ingredients, packaged products, manufacturing methods and supplier labels can change. You are responsible for checking current product labels, ingredient lists and preparation methods before consuming food.
Made For Summer is not designed to manage anaphylaxis, a diagnosed food allergy requiring individual advice, coeliac disease requiring strict contamination control, or medical nutrition therapy. Do not rely on filters, swaps or recipe labels as the only safeguard against an allergen or medically unsuitable ingredient.
5. Accounts and sign-in
Made For Summer uses password-free email links or codes. You must provide a valid email address you control and keep access to that email secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to take reasonable security measures.
Tell us promptly at support@madeforsummer.com.au if you believe your account or sign-in email has been compromised.
You may use the app on more than one compatible device. Your plan and progress may synchronise automatically while you are signed in and connected. Some information may remain temporarily on a device to support offline use and pending synchronisation.
6. Try access
Try access is a limited preview intended to demonstrate one day of the meal-plan and training experience. Most recipes, weeks, planning tools, progress features and settings may remain unavailable until Standard or Complete is purchased.
Try access does not guarantee that every paid feature will be available in the preview. We may alter or withdraw the free Try experience at any time. This does not affect a paid product already purchased. Marketing messages relating to Try are sent only where the required marketing consent is active, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
7. Standard and Complete
Standard provides the functional core required to complete the challenge and maintenance phase, including the applicable structured meal plans, core recipes, shopping lists, supported meal adjustments and swaps, core training pathways, workout logging and core progress tracking.
Complete includes Standard and adds the additional recipe library, greater menu flexibility and customisation, specialist training, journaling and deeper progress and performance insights described at the time of purchase.
The current feature comparison displayed before purchase forms part of the product description. We may improve, replace or reorganise features for a genuine operational, legal, safety, security or product-improvement reason, provided the change does not materially reduce the functional core of the tier you purchased. We will not remove purchased core functionality merely to require an additional purchase. Features requiring a particular device, browser, internet connection or third-party service may not be available in every environment.
8. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include applicable Australian taxes unless stated otherwise. The price shown and accepted at checkout applies to that purchase.
Standard, Complete and the Standard-to-Complete upgrade are one-time purchases. They are not recurring subscriptions. Payment is processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
We may change prices for future purchases. A later price change does not create a further charge for a completed purchase.
Made For Summer is operated from Australia, and purchases are charged in Australian dollars. If you access or purchase from another country, currency-conversion charges and local taxes imposed by your payment provider or local law may apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes a mandatory consumer right that applies to you and cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Access following purchase
After successful payment and account matching, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the purchased tier for your own non-commercial use while Made For Summer operates, subject to these Terms. We may suspend or end that access only on the grounds and through the safeguards described in section 15 or where required by law.
Purchased access does not expire merely because you have not logged in. However, after 24 months without a login, we may classify the account as inactive and remove or de-identify personal plan and progress information. Before doing so, we will ordinarily send at least two notices to the account email, approximately 60 days and 30 days before the proposed removal date. Signing in before that date will cancel the inactivity-removal process. If personal data is removed, it may not be recoverable.
A verified purchaser whose inactive account data has been removed may ask us to restore access to the tier previously purchased without repurchasing it. We may require reasonable evidence of the purchase and account ownership. Restored access may begin with a new profile and plan because deleted personal information cannot be recreated.
10. Service changes or closure
Made For Summer may update its content, design, supported devices and technical delivery. We will not intentionally remove the essential functionality of a purchased tier merely to require another purchase.
If Made For Summer permanently ceases operating, we will, where reasonably and technically practicable, provide advance notice and an opportunity to export available personal data and a usable summary of the member’s current plan and remaining scheduled challenge weeks. This does not require us to distribute the complete recipe, exercise or content library or remove intellectual-property protections. Circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the notice period or export available.
Service closure does not exclude or restrict any refund, compensation or other remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
11. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
We do not offer refunds merely because you change your mind, do not use the service, dislike a food or exercise, or do not achieve a desired result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If the service has a major failure or another remedy is required by law, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, correction or other remedy. Contact support@madeforsummer.com.au with your account email, order details and a description of the issue.
12. Your information and choices
You are responsible for providing accurate information and updating it when circumstances change. The quality and suitability of recommendations depend on the information you provide.
You control whether to record optional information such as journal entries, body measurements and progress photos. You should not upload information about another person unless you have authority to do so.
Progress photos are private by default. Uploading a photo does not give us permission to use it in marketing. If you separately grant permission for a particular photo, the permission shown at the time applies. You may withdraw permission for future use. Withdrawal does not necessarily require recall of material lawfully produced or published before the withdrawal, but we will stop new use within a reasonable period.
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual property
Made For Summer and its licensors own or license the application, branding, photographs, recipes, meal-plan structure, exercise imagery, workout programming, text, graphics, databases, software and other service content. Your purchase grants access; it does not transfer ownership.
You may use and, where the service expressly permits, download or print reasonable portions of your own plan for personal use. You must not, without written permission:
- share, sell, sublicense, republish or commercially exploit the service or its content;
- provide account access or protected content to another person;
- systematically copy, scrape, record, download or reconstruct the content library;
- remove copyright, trade mark, access-control or attribution notices;
- reverse engineer or interfere with access controls, except where a right cannot lawfully be excluded; or
- use protected content or assets to train, test or develop an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system.
14. Acceptable use
You must not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that harms another person or the service. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, overload the service, manipulate payment or entitlement records, impersonate another person, or use automated tools to extract protected content.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate protective action, including temporarily restricting an account while we verify ownership or security.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through the app where available.
We may suspend or terminate access only where reasonably necessary and proportionate because of fraud, a payment reversal, a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, a security risk, or conduct that threatens the service or another person. Except where immediate action is reasonably required to protect a person, the service or evidence of misuse, we will provide notice, the reason for the action and a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct the issue.
Suspension or termination does not remove rights or remedies that accrued beforehand. A refund or continuing access will be provided where required by law.
16. Third-party services and links
Made For Summer relies on service providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, payments, email delivery, analytics and technical monitoring. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. We remain responsible for our obligations and select providers and safeguards appropriate to the information and service involved.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We do not control external content and are not responsible for it, except to the extent the law provides otherwise.
17. Availability and security
We take reasonable steps to keep Made For Summer available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, internet failures, device limitations, service-provider outages, security incidents and events outside reasonable control may cause interruptions.
Where practical, changes made offline are stored on the device and synchronised after reconnection. You should keep your device, browser and email account secure and install relevant updates.
18. Results and warranties
Individual results vary. Outcomes depend on factors including health, starting point, consistency, food choices, exercise technique, recovery and circumstances outside our control. Testimonials and examples do not guarantee similar outcomes.
Except for rights and guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, the service is provided for general informational and self-guided use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be suitable for every person, produce a specific result or remain compatible with every device or third-party service.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability under applicable consumer guarantees.
To the extent permitted by law, our responsibility for a loss is reduced to the extent the loss was caused or contributed to by inaccurate or incomplete information you provided, use contrary to clear safety instructions, continued use after concerning symptoms, reliance on the service as medical treatment, or unauthorised sharing of your account.
Nothing in these Terms attempts to limit a remedy where doing so would be unfair or unlawful. In particular, these Terms do not limit the remedies available for services ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use where the Australian Consumer Law does not permit that limitation.
20. Privacy, communications and marketing
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Service messages necessary to operate or protect your account may be sent without marketing consent. These include sign-in, purchase, security, access, support and important legal or service notices.
Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and may be stopped using the unsubscribe method provided or the available account setting. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent essential service messages.
A purchase by itself is not treated as consent to receive marketing. Marketing messages identify Made For Summer, provide current contact information and include a functional unsubscribe method that does not require account login. We aim to action an unsubscribe request promptly and no later than five working days after it is received.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for a genuine reason, including a change in law, security, technology or the service. If a change materially and adversely affects an existing purchaser’s rights or use of the service, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the app, website or account email before it takes effect, explain the material change and provide any remedy or choice required by law. We will not use a change to these Terms to retrospectively remove the functional core of a tier already purchased.
Changes do not retrospectively remove rights that cannot lawfully be removed. The current version and effective date will be available on our website.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
Nothing in this section limits any right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction where applicable consumer law permits or requires it.
23. General provisions
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our written agreement. We may transfer the business or these Terms as part of a genuine sale, restructure or transfer of Made For Summer, subject to applicable law and privacy obligations. Any successor must honour active purchased tiers and handle personal information consistently with the privacy commitments applying when the transfer occurs, unless a different outcome is permitted by law and properly notified.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the product description accepted at checkout form the agreement concerning the service. They do not exclude representations or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
